Check out the Gibbon Experience in Laos.
Laos is a beautiful country that is full of cultural heritage and natural beauty.
It also features an unforgettable adventure known as the Gibbon Experience.
As a response to poaching and logging in the area, the campaign to save and preserve the Bokeo Nature Reserve along with its precious primate began in 2004.
Serving as an eco tourism forest conservation project, visitors stay in rustic tree houses high above the jungle and utilize a zip line to tour and search the forest for the unique species known as the Black Gibbon.
Called the 'The Gibbon Experience', the project employs around 40 full time workers to help people fully discover the nature reserve and the inhabitants.
During the downtime, the tree houses serve as a high perch for humans to take in the beautiful forest. The employed guides are always around to assist guests.
A 'Waterfall Experience' takes guests further into the reserve, requiring a two to three hour walk along the local river.
What do you think of the Gibbon Experience?
